1. Rehabilitation to Reintegration (R2R) Vacancies
The R2R service is for people’s pre and post discharge from residential rehabilitation (RR), returning to South Lanarkshire.
The service operates on two strands: practical and emotional support and personal development planning. R2R helps individuals prepare to enter residential rehabilitation and continue that support post discharge to help them navigate the landscape they’re returning to. Support workers will work with the person to establish and access recovery opportunities and activities and also link them with wider services where necessary, including mutual aid, housing, benefits, and other wraparound networks.
The following are the current vacancies:
Liber8 are seeking to recruit 2 x Support Workers. The posts are aimed at mentoring and supporting people at this critical transitioning stage of their lives. The postholders will help the person prepare for entering RR and to build recovery capital, increase confidence while encouraging them to achieve their full potential: together setting realistic goals to assist in their own individual recovery journey.
Ideally, the successful candidate will have an SVQ Level 3 qualification in Social Services and Health Care (or an equivalent qualification) and experience of holding a responsible position in this field of work or similar.
Salary: £24,570
Location: Hours: 35 hours
Based: Liber8 Lanarkshire: South Lanarkshire.
Contract: 36 months

2. The Beacons: Vacancies
Liber8’s Beacons Project is four Recovery focused venues in the four localities of South Lanarkshire, Hamilton/Blantyre: Cambuslang/Rutherglen: Clydesdale / Lanark and East Kilbride. Due to the success of the past four years, we are significantly expanding our team. The Beacons provide a range of recovery focused activities and opportunities to people in their recovery journey to help maintain and continue with their journey. There are also activities and services available to families of loved ones in recovery.
The following are the current vacancies:
Liber8 are seeking to recruit a Therapeutic Group Facilitator to join our Beacons team and to support the ongoing successful Beacons Project.
The postholder would be expected to deliver evidence-based techniques, effective approaches in addictions, mental health issues, and associated issues. Essentially, the postholder will be competent in designing and delivering psychoeducational group programmes and workshops. Further they will contribute to the Beacons ethos of having open, welcoming and Psychologically Informed Environments.
Salary: £26,936- £28,756
Based: South Lanarkshire
Full Time: 35 hours
